The 5-minute talks are talks held before starting the working day in which the aim is to inform and sensitize workers about their health and safety.

In general, in the 5-minute talks, topics related to dangers and emergency situations that may arise in the work areas are discussed, and they know how to react and what measures to take in the face of these events.

It is important to carry out the 5-minute talk because it allows us to generate in the workers a commitment to the Occupational Health and Safety System, showing them that we care about their participation within the company, and that they are a fundamental piece for the development of this .

The talk allows to demonstrate the degree of commitment of the company with the safety and the workers, in it it is possible to analyze situations that can lead to an accident. The usual thing is that the supervisor in charge of executing the work analyzes the day's work, comments on the risks that exist in it and its forms of control.

The daily chat is an instance of participation of all the workers, since it is the appropriate moment to give their opinions, experiences or contributions of the work that is going to be carried out.
