About this app

Remedi is a locum service supporting General Practices dealing with unplanned absences in their clinical and administration teams.

As a health worker, by allowing the app to register you for "push notifications" you will be automatically notified via our Cloud Messaging service of any relevant casual positions being offered. These will be sent directly to your phone, without needing to have the app running - similar to the way SMS (text) message alerts are received. Simply click on a notification when it appears and the app will open and take you directly to the ‘New Jobs’ section of your Remedi app to show you the job(s) you have been offered. You can then respond as desired with a simple click of a button to the choices available.

Remedi also provides an optional feature to clock in and out of jobs if required by your employer. For this reason location permission is requested when you install the app to determine your exact position when clocking in and out of jobs. Choosing this feature is optional.
