As a true Bavarian, this free Watten app is a must-have on your smartphone or tablet.

The app is easy to use. It serves both experienced Watten players for entertainment and beginners who want to learn the game. The rules are also available for reference. All of this is framed by a modern design and appealing graphics.

Your cards are automatically arranged according to the current announcements to make it more convenient to use. The game is played to 15 points (or 13 if selected in the settings). From 13 points (or 11 if selected), the tension mounts. The winner of a round receives a "Bummerl" (a small prize).

Special features of the online game:
It is always played one-on-one, points are counted to 15, and the game speed is balanced due to the voting system.

Rules: In the one-on-one variant, two players compete against each other. In the two-on-two variant, the players sitting opposite each other are team members and play together against the other team. First, the player to the left of the dealer cuts the deck. If they draw a critical card (Spitz, Bölle, Max), they keep it. After the cards are dealt, the player to the right of the dealer announces the suit, and the dealer announces the trump suit. The player to the left of the dealer leads the first card. If they lead the trump card, subsequent players must lead a trump or critical card (if available). However, if the trump card is won, this obligation is lifted for subsequent players. Before playing the main card, it is permitted to ask the other player whether this will disadvantage them or not. Once all players have played a card, the player who played the highest card wins the trick. In subsequent turns, the player who last won a trick always leads first. Tricks are taken according to the following priority:

1. Max (King of Hearts)

2. Bölle (Seven of Bells)
3. Spitz (Seven of Acorns)
4. Suit + Top Card
5. Suit
6. Top Card. If two cards of the same suit meet, the higher card wins the trick. The current game is won by the player or team that first takes three tricks. This player then receives the current stake in points. The base score is 2 points. This can be increased by 1 any number of times at any time by asking "Go?". At the beginning, each player or team can ask, then alternately. If the opposing player or team answers "No," play continues. If the answer is "Yes," the points are not increased, the current game is lost immediately, and the points are awarded to the player or team that asked the question. A round is won as soon as a player or team reaches 15 (or 13) points. The winner then receives a "Bummerl" (a small prize). From 13 (or 11) points onward, a player or team is considered "bespannt" (in a state of "tentative"). The winnings for each game are then 3 points, which cannot be increased. However, the "bespannt" player or team may concede after declaring the suit and move. The opponent, who automatically wins, then receives only 2 points instead of the usual 3.
