About this app

Before sending an ID copy for a rental, job application or document check, mark who it is for and the date. SimpleMasker adds a repeating text watermark on your phone, such as “For xxx use only · YYYY/MM/DD”.

[Mark the purpose before sharing]
Import a photo with the system photo picker or take a new one. Enter the recipient or intended purpose, then turn on Append date to add today's date in YYYY/MM/DD format. Check the preview before saving the watermarked copy.

[Reuse your wording]
Save watermark texts you use often, including their date option. Pick a saved text from the drop-down menu while editing. Open the separate Saved texts page to reuse or delete entries. Enabled date stamps use the current date when applied.
Changing the photo keeps your current text and date setting. The text draft is also remembered when you reopen the app.

[Easy-to-reach editing]
The main editing and import controls are at the bottom. The photo uses the preview area, with no fixed logo header. A compact layout leaves room for the preview on short screens.

[Adjust the copy you send]
• Scene presets and ready-made watermark phrases.
• Adjustable angle, opacity, font size, spacing, color and position.
• Free cropping and common aspect ratios, including 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9 and 9:16.
• Choose output resolution and JPEG quality, then save to your gallery.
• Exported JPEG images are re-encoded without EXIF metadata, including source GPS and camera information.

[Offline, without an account]
Photo processing and saved texts stay in the app on your device. The app does not upload photos or watermark texts, has no network permission, and includes no ads or analytics. No account is needed.

[Six interface languages]
English, 简体中文, Português (Brasil), Español, Bahasa Indonesia and Русский. Interface controls, presets and built-in text phrases are localized.

Useful for ID cards, passports, licenses, rental paperwork, job applications and internal document copies. Follow the recipient's requirements when submitting documents.
