About this app

"DareKana Block" is a service that identifies and automatically blocks nuisance calls, automatically identifies callers, and filters SMS.
Simple setup prevents unwanted "nuisance" calls, supporting safe and secure phone calls.

[DareKana Block Features]
■ Identifying Unknown Numbers
The service automatically displays caller information by comparing calls from unknown numbers with a database of numbers. It also displays an alert icon for calls deemed high-risk. This feature helps distinguish important calls, such as appointment confirmations or calls from hospitals, from nuisance calls, such as scams and sales calls.

Even when a call is not from an unknown number, the service identifies the caller information and displays it in your call history. This allows you to quickly determine whether or not to call back.

■ Automatic Nuisance Call Blocking
Based on information reported by many users, we regularly investigate and analyze special frauds and malicious nuisance calls, reflecting the latest data. High-risk phone numbers, such as "one-ring" calls that attempt to force a callback, are registered on an automatic call blocking list that is regularly updated.

■ Automatically Updates Phone Number Database
By regularly updating our phone number database, we maintain the accuracy of our call identification capabilities.

■ SMS Assistant
When you receive an SMS from an unknown sender, this assistant automatically sorts messages into meaningful and unwanted ones by identifying them based on keywords and URLs in the message. It also scans all URLs in the message to ensure they are safe to access.

[Permission Declaration]
■ "Phone, Call Log, Contacts" permissions: For caller, call log, and contact carrier identification and blocking functions.
■ "SMS" permissions: For SMS sender identification, blocking functions, and for sending SMS and copying one-time passwords.
■ "Storage (Photos/Media/Files), Microphone" permissions: For sending multimedia files via Darekana Block.

Notes:
* All granted permissions are used internally by Darekana Block only to provide better service.
* In accordance with Google policy, please set Darekana Block as your default caller ID app and enable Darekana Block's call interface function. (On Android OS 9, Darekana Block will ask you to set it as the default phone app)
