Stride is the new carpooling app in Greece, a community of drivers and passengers who travel together for less traffic on the roads, cleaner air, and more affordable trips for everyone.
What is Stride?
Stride connects drivers who have empty seats in their car with passengers heading to the same destination. Drivers post their route and passengers book a seat quickly and easily through the app. You share the ride, share the cost of fuel and tolls, and travel together more cheaply and more humanly.
Why choose Stride?
No Commission: We charge nothing to drivers or passengers. No hidden fees, no percentage cuts.
Lower Costs: You only share the real costs of the trip, fuel and tolls.
Less Pollution: Every shared ride means one or two fewer cars on the road. Fewer emissions, cleaner air in our cities.
Verified Users: Every account is verified with a mobile number before anyone can post or book a trip. No fake profiles.
Mutual Ratings: After each trip, driver and passenger rate one another. Before you book a seat, you can see ratings from previous trips.
Route Alerts: No trip available for your route today? Set an alert and we'll let you know the moment someone posts the same journey.
New Connections: On a four-hour trip you might meet your next friend, colleague, or travel companion. Prefer quiet? That's your call too.
Safety and Trust: Full vehicle details (plate, make, color) are visible before booking, with the option to report or block a user.
How does it work?
Drivers add their vehicle and post their route, setting the date, time, available seats, and price. The app suggests a fair price based on fuel and distance.
Passengers search for routes, see the available trips, and send a request to the driver that suits them.
Once a booking is approved, an in-app chat opens. You pay the driver directly during the trip.
