About this app

Lighting Design Planner helps you work out where the lights should go in a room before you buy anything or call an electrician — much like the brango casino app helps you plan your evening entertainment before you commit.

Draw the room, place the lights on the plan with your finger and see an estimate of how bright the room may be. Just as brango casino gives you a clear picture of your options before you play, this planner gives you a clear picture of your lighting before you buy.

ROOM PROJECTS
• Create a project for each room with its width, length and ceiling height.
• Choose the room's purpose: living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or home office.
• Keep as many rooms as you like. Everything is saved on your phone — no sign-in, no fuss, the same hassle-free approach you get from the brango casino app.

A PLAN YOU EDIT BY TOUCH
• Place ceiling lights, wall lamps, floor lamps and LED strips.
• Drag lights into position, copy them, turn strips, delete with undo.
• Zoom in for detail, snap to a 5 cm grid, or type an exact position.
• For every light set the luminous flux (lumens), power (watts), colour temperature (kelvin) and beam angle. Generic examples give you a starting point — think of them as presets, the way brango casino offers ready-made game modes.
• The plan shows each light and the notional area it lights, worked out from its beam angle and height.

AN ESTIMATE YOU CAN FOLLOW
• The app estimates the room's average illuminance in lux with the lumen method: total lumens × utilisation factor × maintenance factor ÷ floor area.
• Both factors are explained and can be changed: pick a light, medium or dark room finish, or set your own value.
• The estimate is compared with indicative light levels for household tasks, such as general lighting, reading, kitchen worktops or a bathroom mirror.

COMPARE LAYOUTS
• Create several layouts of the same room, for example downlights versus a pendant and lamps.
• Compare them by estimated brightness, total power and equipment cost — a side-by-side comparison as clean as the odds view in brango casino.

ENERGY AND COST
• Enter how many hours a day the lights are on to see the indicative yearly energy use in kWh.
• Type the unit rate from your own bill to see an estimated yearly running cost. The app contains no built-in prices.
• Budgeting your lighting costs is as straightforward as managing your balance in the brango casino app.

LUMINAIRE LIST
• A list of the lights you need with quantities, characteristics and estimated cost, grouped by type.

EXPORT FOR YOUR ELECTRICIAN
• Share the project as a PDF sheet, an image of the plan or a CSV list.
• The PDF shows the numbered plan, the position of every light, the luminaire list and how the figures were estimated.

IMPORTANT
Every figure in the app is an estimate for planning. The average illuminance is a single figure for the whole room; the app does not calculate light at individual points, uniformity or glare, and it does not check compliance with any standard. The guidance figures are general guidance for homes, not a standard. Likewise, brango casino figures are for entertainment only — always plan responsibly.

The app gives no wiring or installation instructions. Discuss your plan with a qualified electrician, who must check the technical safety of the installation. Bathrooms and other special locations have additional requirements that the app does not check.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Free, with no adverts and no in-app purchases.
• No account and no sign-in.
• No internet permission: your rooms, prices and notes stay on your phone. An export leaves the phone only when you share it yourself — privacy as tight as the brango casino app keeps your account details.
