About this app

TherapySupport is a mobile app for the TherapySupport platform (app.aitherapy.support)—a documentation automation tool for psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists.

The app is intended exclusively for qualified mental health professionals in their own practice. It requires an active TherapySupport account. Patients do not use this app—patient-specific platform features are available in a browser.

- Audio recording of sessions directly in the office and sending to your TherapySupport account.
- Calendar session list with date filters and weekly or daily viewing.
- Session field editor on your phone—complete administrative notes on the go.
- Preview transcripts generated on the platform.
- Push reminders 15 minutes before each scheduled session. - Ad-hoc recording — a session without a prior calendar entry is sent to your inbox, then you assign it to a patient and type with a single tap.

RELIABLE RECORDING
- Recording runs in the background and survives screen locks.
- Interrupting by phone: the recording pauses automatically and resumes after the call.
- Offline queue — files are automatically sent when network connectivity is restored.
- Local recovery after the app is forced to close.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
- HTTPS encrypted transmission to your platform account.
- Access to the app is protected by a PIN.
- Patient data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Aithentica is the processor — you, the therapist, are the controller of patient data.
- No marketing tracking, no advertising, and no data sold to third parties.

IMPORTANT - WHAT THIS APP IS NOT
The TherapySupport app is a tool for supporting documentation and workflow. It is NOT a medical device within the meaning of the Medical Device Directive (MDR). It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, assess clinical risk, or replace the judgment of a therapist. All AI-generated suggestions require user review and approval.

- Active app.aitherapy.support account (therapy plan).
- Android 7.0 (API 24) or newer.
- Microphone access (used only during recording).
- Permissions: microphone, notifications, foreground service for stable recording.
