I am obsessed with the channels on this app. As for the ads, if you listen as much as I do you will understand that the ads are usually from the individual channels. Some have ads before you listen or if you loose stream, some have ads after each story, while a few have channel identification and you may never here another ad. Some ads on some channels are old for products that don't exist anymore. I LOVE IT!

The app has a good selection of stations, but too many drawbacks: (1) The pause button does not pause — It stops; then you reconnect and miss a lot. (2) The app has frequent dead air. I suspect that their old server can't handle many users. If so, this problem won't go away in the paid version. Instead, just find the stations on your internet radio, and don't bother with this frustrating app.

There are lots of choices and the features are very well thought out and executed with a very inexpensive subscription for ad free listening. I don't mind the ads. This is my favorite way to get classic radio shows. I love the category selection too. Update, the station I was listening to stopped playing and now none of the stations will load.
