About this app

Sawtak Wesel is the official mobile application of the Ministry of Interior of the Syrian Arab Republic. It gives every citizen — inside Syria or abroad — a direct, documented channel to submit requests to the competent authorities and to follow up on them until they are resolved, without paperwork and without visiting an office.

SUBMIT A REQUEST IN MINUTES
Choose the service you need, fill in the required details, and attach supporting files. The application offers three services, each with a form tailored to it:

• General complaint — file a complaint against a Ministry of Interior employee or against a service provided by one of its departments.
• Lifting a travel ban — request the removal of a travel ban recorded against you.
• Inquiry about a detainee — ask the competent authority about the whereabouts and status of a detained person.

FOR SYRIANS ABROAD
Syrians living outside the country can use the application from anywhere in the world, without traveling to Syria and without an intermediary. Request the lifting of a travel ban and clarify your standing before returning home, inquire about a detained relative, or raise any issue that concerns you — and receive the answer of the competent authority directly on your phone. The interface is available in English for those more comfortable with it.

ATTACH YOUR SUPPORTING FILES
Add images, documents, and other supporting files to your request so the reviewing department has the complete picture from the first moment.

FOLLOW UP ON THE STATUS
Track every request you have submitted from a single screen. See the current status, the department handling it, and every update as it happens.

TALK DIRECTLY TO THE DEPARTMENT
An in-app chat lets you communicate with the administration responsible for your request, answer their questions, and send any additional information they need.

INSTANT NOTIFICATIONS
Receive a notification the moment the status of your request changes or the reviewing department sends you a message, so nothing goes unanswered.

SECURE ACCOUNT
Registration and login are protected by SMS verification, with optional fingerprint or face unlock for fast and secure access. You can update your phone number and password at any time from within the application.

TWO LANGUAGES
The application is fully available in Arabic and English, with a complete interface for each language.

Illustrated tutorials and a frequently asked questions section explain every step, from creating an account to following up on your request.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and handled in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Interior. Sensitive screens are protected against screen capture.
