I had an old account some years ago and it seems connecting it with the Tap XR has made it automatically switch to a mode where it refuses to accept text taps a few seconds after pairing, but will let me change the volume. It's also kind of frustrating that I can't use the app without the tap being on, which interferes with changing settings when it automatically switches to air mouse mode -- the only other mode I can get it to go into.

currently the tutorial experience has impediment. I just got my tap 2 band, synced it through the app. the app recognized it and updated the band. started the tutorial. the app picked up the signals correctly, but after a minute it stopped responding to typing. I confirmed by typing something within my notes app. I noticed that if I restarted the band it the app would refresh the connection and work for another minute. plz help

After a while it sucks because you can't tap any letters. I called the developer and they said turn off standby mode so I did (that didn't fix the freeze issue). I also reset the tap and it still doesn't tap the letters out. Checked for updates still didn't fix it. It freezes constantly. There are too many glitches and bugs to get it tapping properly. Maybe in the year 2050 they will give it the proper update so the TAP2 will not freeze or another company will succeed where they failed.
