About this game

Turn your camera into an arcade controller.

PlayByHand: Webcam Arcade is a collection of five neon mini-games controlled with natural hand movement. Point, swipe, hover and steer while your device camera tracks your hands in real time. No gamepad, headset or wearable controller is required.

Five arcade challenges
• Fruit Slicer — Swipe through flying fruit, build combos and avoid bombs.
• Balloon Blitz — Pop colourful balloons before the timer runs out. Watch for special targets and hazards.
• Neon Pong — Raise and lower your hand to move the paddle and rally against the computer.
• Glow Snake — Guide a luminous snake with your fingertip, collect orbs and avoid the walls and your tail.
• Brick Breaker — Move your hand from side to side, catch power-ups and clear rows of neon bricks.

Move naturally

PlayByHand turns simple gestures into responsive arcade controls. Clear visual cursors show where the game sees your hand, while short instructions introduce each challenge. The five distinct modes make it easy to jump into another quick round.

Built for arcade sessions

Privacy-minded camera play

Camera frames are analysed on your device for real-time hand tracking. PlayByHand does not record or upload your camera feed. High scores and basic settings are stored locally, and no account is required.

Camera permission is required for hand controls. Performance and tracking quality can vary with lighting, camera position and device capability. For best results, play in a well-lit space with your hands clearly visible.
