About this app

In a world of AI-generated and manipulated images, it is increasingly difficult to determine what is real.

ColiCam changes this.

Capture photos and create a verifiable proof of authorship. Each image can be registered in a decentral registry (on blockchain) and later verified — without relying on any central authority.

What you can do with ColiCam:
- Prove that you created a photo
- Check whether an image is registered
- Verify images as identical or similar
- Detect manipulation or reused content

How it works:
- Each image is converted into a robust fingerprint (ISIX)
- The fingerprint and a hash of the picture can be registered on-chain
- Verification happens locally on your device
- No trust in servers or service providers required
- The registry can't be manipulated

Key properties:
- No accounts, no personal data
- Fully local verification (using colibri.stateless technology)
- Blockchain used in the background (no crypto needed)
- Fast and lightweight camera experience
