About this app

Time Zone Alarm is a time zone alarm clock: it sets an alarm on another city's clock. Pick the city, pick the time there, and your phone rings at the right moment here. No mental math, no missed meeting.

It is an alarm app first. Every timezone alarm is pegged to a time zone you choose, and the app shows both times side by side — the time THERE and the time HERE — so you can see exactly when it will ring.

WORLD CLOCK + ALARM IN ONE
Think of it as a world clock alarm: check what time it is in the cities you care about, then put an alarm right on that time — one that actually rings. Every alarm keeps its own city, so your alarm list reads like a world clock you can wake up to.

REMOTE WORK & MEETINGS ACROSS TIME ZONES
Wake for a meeting scheduled in another office's time. Set 09:00 New York, 14:00 London, or 10:00 Singapore, repeat the alarm on weekdays, and stop converting time zones in your head before every standup, handoff, or client call.

MARKETS & TRADING
Catch the open from anywhere. 09:30 New York for the opening bell, 08:00 London, 09:00 Tokyo — set the time zone alarm once on weekdays and it fires on the market's clock, not yours.

UTC & ON-CALL
Servers run on UTC. Put your on-call window, maintenance slot, or scheduled deploy on the zone it was actually planned in, and check it at a glance: every alarm shows its UTC offset, so what you set is what you meant.

FAMILY & FRIENDS ABROAD
Ring yourself at a good hour for them, not a rude one for you — a weekly call home, a birthday, a school run six zones away.

A TIME ZONE ALARM BUILT TO ACTUALLY RING
• Reliable, system-level alarms that ring even when your phone is locked or in your pocket
• Full-screen wake-up with snooze on your lock screen
• Snooze countdown at a glance

MAKE YOUR ALARM CLOCK YOURS
• Repeat once, daily, weekdays, weekends, or custom days
• Label every alarm so you know what it is for
• Alarm sounds from gentle to loud, plus your own audio
• Vibration, adjustable volume, and a longer-ring option
• Clean design with dark mode
• 12- or 24-hour time, following your system setting

A timezone alarm clock for people whose day runs on someone else's clock — set an alarm on any city's time in seconds and be awake where you need to be.

You have to guess equivalent famous city or it won't proceed at all. No dropdown function for time zones or city. You have to modify the sound on the phone settings.

Thanks for the feedback — you’re right. City search is currently limited, which can make it harder to find the right location. We’re working on improving search and adding better suggestions. We’re also improving sound options so they can be changed directly in the app. Appreciate you pointing this out.

only gives you one god awful alarm sound and then wants you to pay a monthly subscription to be able to change it. ridiculous.

Fair point 😄 The default sound was something I made myself — sounds like it needs an upgrade. I’ll work on adding better, more polished options. You can still use the app for free, and I really appreciate the honest feedback.

It's ok, but the naming/search of time zones sucks. Instead of searching by the time zone, you have to type the city. But it doesn't even recognize Atlanta! And if you are in Central time zone, it says "your local time here in Chicago...." except that I am in Texas!

March 2026 update: We expanded city coverage and improved search, so many more cities are now supported beyond the main time zone city. Really appreciate the feedback — this should be much better now.

What’s new

• The bottom ad banner can now be collapsed out of the way, so more of the screen is yours.
• Quieter, better-timed in-app prompts.
• Reliability and stability improvements.
