Keep matched tennis racquets identical with weight, balance βοΈ and string checks.
Locla Drift helps tennis players and stringers keep twin racquets identical.
Players who use two or more frames of the same model know π‘ how they drift apart. A regrip, a new β¨ overgrip or a different gauge of string changes the feel. Locla Drift records those changes and shows when the frames no longer match.
Group the frames of one model into a matched set for each player βΆοΈ. Log π every string job with the strings, gauges and tensions. Measure π static weight, balance βοΈ point and swingweight. Set the tolerance for each spec, and the app compares the frames against it.
What you can do:
- Keep players, matched sets and frames A, B, C and more in one list π
- Log π string jobs with mains, crosses, gauges, tensions and the date
- Record measurements with the tool π οΈ you used and a short note π
- Run a match check β
and see π every spec that falls outside its tolerance
- See π a spread chart π with each frame as a dot over its tolerance band
- Find the outlier frame in a set
- Plan πΊοΈ lead tape by clock position and see π the estimated change in weight and balance βοΈ
- Log π frame events such as regrips, overgrips, dampeners, grommets and lead tape
- Save πΎ a check β
as a snapshot with a note π
- Follow a drift timeline π for each frame against the set average π
- Choose units for weight, balance βοΈ and tension for each player βΆοΈ
The History β³ tab lists every saved check β
and shows which frame is the outlier most often. The drift timeline π marks restrings and frame events, so you can see π why a weight jumped.
Locla Drift gives approximate values. They assume a standard 27 in frame, so measure π again after you add tape.
Keep your frames matched from one match to the next.
