About this app

Fidexa is a mileage tracker, bookkeeping app and payment app for self-employed people and small businesses in the United States and Canada. Your phone logs your drives, sorts your income and expenses, and keeps your records ready for your accountant.

FREE, WITH NO LIMITS
• Automatic mileage tracking — Fidexa detects drives on its own and logs each trip. You mark it business or personal. Unlimited trips.
• Mileage log — export as PDF or CSV with date, distance, start and end, purpose and vehicle. The IRS standard mileage rate (US) and CRA rate (Canada) are shown for reference.
• Bookkeeping — income and expenses sorted into tax categories, business kept apart from personal, and a Review queue so nothing is filed without your say.
• Receipt scanning — photograph a receipt; merchant, amount, date and category are filled in. No scan limit.
• Records for your CPA — export the year as PDF or CSV, grouped by IRS Schedule C headings (US) or CRA T2125 lines (Canada), with a list of what still needs review.
• Digital business card — design your card and share it by QR code or Google Wallet. People who scan it can call, text, email or save your contact, or save the card itself. Plus a QR card that sends customers to your Google review page.
• Analyze — cash flow, spending trends, income sources, burn rate and runway from your own records.
• AI advisor — ask questions about your own numbers.
• Several businesses under one account, each with its own books.

PREMIUM — US$9.99/month or US$89.99/year
• Bank sync — connect your bank read-only through Plaid; transactions import and categorize on their own. Free for 7 days from your first linked bank.
• Fidexa Pay (US businesses):
– Tap to Pay on Android: accept contactless credit and debit cards, Google Pay and other digital wallets on your phone. No card reader. Needs an NFC phone running Android 13 or later.
– Invoices your customer pays online by card or by bank transfer.
– Tips and email receipts.
– Every payment is recorded in your books automatically, with the processing fee and sales tax kept separate.

When a trial ends nothing is deleted; imported transactions stay and only syncing pauses.

PRIVATE AND SECURE
• Bank access is read-only — Fidexa can never move your money.
• Financial screens are protected from screenshots.
• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is never used to train public AI models.
• Card payments are processed by Stripe; Fidexa does not store card numbers.

WHERE IT WORKS
United States: everything. Canada: bookkeeping, receipts, mileage (CRA rates, T2125 export) and the business card. Fidexa Pay is available to US businesses only.

Fidexa organizes your records for tax time. It does not calculate the tax you owe or file returns.
