English Heroes teaches elementary school children basic English vocabulary – 450 exercises with 142 words, perfectly suited to the English curriculum in grades 3 and 4.
Topics: Colors, numbers, animals, family, body, clothing, food, school, home, weather, hobbies, and the days of the week.
Two languages in every exercise: The instructions are in German, the vocabulary word is in English – and spoken aloud in an English voice. This way, the child hears how the word sounds from the very beginning, instead of just reading it.
Exercise types: Listen and match, picture to word, word to picture, writing, filling in the blanks in short sentences.
