About this game

King is the classic four-player trick-taking card game, long beloved across Eastern Europe and sometimes called "the king of card games". Easy to learn, hard to put down.

A full game runs 14 rounds in two stages. First come the penalty rounds, where every trick can hurt: avoid taking tricks, hearts, jacks, queens, the King of Hearts, and the last tricks. Then the tables turn. In the second stage you bid to TAKE as many tricks as you can. The player with the best total after all 14 rounds wins.
