About this app

SARC is a map, navigation, and coordination tool that works where there is no network coverage. Designed for search and rescue operations, hiking, and any activity outside of a network coverage area.

OFFLINE MAPS EVERYWHERE
• Download the desired areas via Wi-Fi and use the map without internet connection.
• Import ready-made maps: MBTiles, SAS.Planet (.sqlitedb), Locus, RMaps, JNX, KMZ.
• Connect your own online tile sources (Locus .ms).

BACKGROUND TRACK RECORDING
• Route recording continues when the app is minimized and the screen is locked.
• Profiles for walking, cycling, and hiking.
• Track details: length, time, elevation gain/loss, speed, area, graphs.
• Restore an unfinished track after a crash.

MARKERS, ROUTES, AREAS
• Markers with icons, colors, and descriptions; grouped into collections.
• Draw routes (lines) and areas (polygons) directly on the map.
• Drag vertices, insert points, measure areas.
• Manage layer visibility on the map.

SEARCH AND MEASUREMENTS
• Search by name and coordinates (DD / GM / GMS).
• Two-finger ruler: distance and azimuth.
• Navigate to a mark with a dotted line and voice guidance.

OFFLINE SHARING
• Transfer collections, tracks, and offline maps to another phone directly via Wi-Fi
via QR code — no accounts or cloud required.
• Import/export GPX, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, PLT.

PRIVACY
• All data is stored on the device. No accounts, no cloud required. • Coordinates and personal data are not transmitted to servers.

SARC is equally useful for rescuers, volunteers, tourists, hunters, and fishermen—
anyone who needs reliable maps and navigation in places where traditional apps are useless without a network connection.
