Got a glovebox full of invoices? A growing pile on the kitchen table? Yeah. Same.
Siftly is a simple invoice tracker built for UK self-builders and sole-trader tradespeople. Photograph an invoice (or upload a PDF), and Siftly reads the supplier, date, net amount, VAT, and total automatically — then shows you the result to check before saving. No typing. No chasing receipts at the end of the job.
Organise invoices into projects — your kitchen extension, the Henderson job, whatever you're working on. Each project shows you a running total of spend and VAT. When you need a spreadsheet, one tap exports a clean CSV: ready for your accountant, your VAT claim, or just your own sanity.
Why it exists
I built Siftly because I was helping a family member through a self-build and watched them drown in paper. Screwfix receipts. Random plasterer receipts. A handwritten one from the brickie on a bit of cardboard. All destined for a shoebox and a horrible weekend before the VAT431NB deadline.
There's nothing wrong with the big accounting apps — they're just built for accountants, not for someone knee-deep in a renovation who wants a quick way to know what they've spent.
