About this app

SpaceDesk gives you remote access to the computers that are YOURS.

Install SpaceDesk on the computer you want to reach, open SpaceDesk on your phone, type that computer's ID and its one-time password — and you are on its desktop: mouse, keyboard, screen, sound and file transfer.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT

• The server is OURS. Sessions go through desk.spacecode.tech — a rendezvous and relay server we run ourselves, with our own key. They never touch anyone else's public infrastructure.
• No account. No sign-up, no email, no password to remember. A connection needs the device ID and the one-time password shown on the computer itself.
• End-to-end encrypted. The relay carries the data; it does not read it.
• No ads, no trackers, no analytics.

WHAT IT DOES

• See and control the whole desktop of a Windows, Linux or macOS computer.
• Type with the phone keyboard; touch becomes the mouse, with scrolling and right-click.
• Transfer files in both directions.
• Hear the computer's audio on your phone.
• Scan a QR code, or keep several computers under Recent and Favourites and reconnect with one tap — all of it stays on the phone itself.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO — and why

This version is a CONTROLLER. It opens your computer's desktop; it never shows your phone's own screen to anyone. That is why the app asks for no Accessibility service, no screen-recording permission, no microphone, and runs no background service. The only permissions it needs are internet, notifications, and the camera for QR codes.

SpaceDesk is built on the RustDesk protocol (AGPL-3.0). The apps, the brand, the server and the key are ours.
