About this app

MetalScout is a simple field tool for scrapyard workers. Take up to 3 photos of parts, add a short description and location, and we'll evaluate your report. We award cash prizes for accepted, valuable finds.

**Key Features**

* 📸 **Photo Reports** – up to 3 photos per part, secure submission.
* 📍 **Location Tagging** – assign report origin (no background tracking).
* ✅ **Statuses and Deadlines** – pending, iron, copper, silver, gold + timestamps (created, evaluated, scheduled pickup).
* 🗂️ **Part List and Details** – photo gallery, description, and metadata.
* 👤 **Profile and Payouts** – contact information and an optional account number for rewards.
* 📘 **Tutorial** – examples of what to photograph and what to avoid. * 🔁 **Offline & retry** – shipment queue and retry in case of poor signal.

**How it works**

1. Log in or register.
2. In "Add Part," take photos, enter a description, and allow location tracking.
3. Submit your report and track its status in the app.
4. Top up your bank account to receive payments for approved reports.

**Privacy**
Photos and data are stored securely. The location is only used to mark the location of the report. Account deletion instructions and the Privacy Policy can be found on the developer's website.

**Note**
MetalScout is not a metal exchange or a purchasing agency. The eligibility of reports and the amount of the reward depend on the team's evaluation.
