Bible Reading Plan and Verses
Bible (Indonesian Bible). New Translation. Old Testament and New Testament
The Bible is the designation for the holy book of Christians. Bible although generally printed as one volume, is actually a collection of 66 books that are officially recognized by Christians as a book inspired by God. Sometimes used the term gospel to the Christian holy book, but this is not true, because the so-called gospels were just four of 66 books referred to, namely the first four books of the New Testament passage.
The word "Bible" comes from the Arabic Al and the book, which literally means "book" or "book", in which the word Al is a typical clothing word in Arabic. In the Holy Bible Christianity itself, the term Bible (which is derived from an Arabic word) is not used, because the Bible is Christianity translated into Indonesian from the original languages, namely Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.
