I love the new boat mechanics. They add an insane amount of depth and strategy to the game. The only big thing keeping this game from 5 stars imo is the new stalemate. I just don't see a reason for it and some other people on YouTube and whatnot agree that it is a pointless feature. Very fun gameplay though. Also, it would be nice to have some more specific mechanics when it comes to attacking. Like an option to attack on one area instead of along all the borders you share with another player.

Pretty fun to just sink a bit of time into. It's not overly complicated. A few tips: Don't full send. The only time you really should is if you're pissed at someone and are already gonna lose. Build up your troops. The more troops you have, the faster you'll get them. This is called interest. Generally, it's better to send smaller amounts out so you can keep your interest high. Practice in singleplayer to get a feel for what the best amount of troops to send out is.

Very fun, a style of gameplay I have been looking for in a game like this for years. Not too complicated once you get the hang of it, although there is an unfortunate snowball effect that makes it nearly impossible to challenge larger players. If someone has a slightly larger number of troops than I do but they're spread out across 5-10x the area, they should be easier to invade. Maybe some kind of variable density of troops like in Risk?
