EVO - Eucalyptus Valuechain Optimization is a free software to help farmers in decision making before harvesting.
This application is easy and simple application for estimating the best
possible tree bucking for any stands. EVO demonstrates to forest owner what is the current best value of the stand, when the tree bucking is done in a feasible way. It is easy access calculation model.
Modeling is based on simple input information:
- The plantation area
- Average diamter at breast height (DBH)
- Spacing
- Assortment and price
- etc
Outputs:
- The estimated timber assortment volumes can be routed to mills
- Resulting total estimated profit for entire stand or by area
- Demonstrating the eddect of time to the net incomes
