[Taichung Go] Brand new version integrates Taichung buses and smart travel services. Taichung Go is a zero-advertising smart travel app launched by the Taichung City Government. It integrates real-time dynamic information on Taichung buses and multiple public transportation services to provide a more convenient and smart transportation and travel experience.

Ratings and reviews

Very easy to use. The information is complete, convenient and fast to use. There are promotions for app users to travel in Taichung easily and seamlessly. However, the disadvantage is that the QR code is generated slowly. Every time you take a bus or train, you have to generate a new QR code. It is not very suitable for foreign tourists because you have to use a Taiwanese number to register to receive an OTP. I tried using a foreign number and i cannot received OTP so, didn't register at all. 😭

The app is nonfunctional. When attempting to search bus routes by adding a favorite route or selecting a destination, no bus routes appear at all in the search, regardless of how I input a query.

App is useful to keep track of time and stops but the reserve stop feature is not working. I just missed my bus after reserving it to stop and it just flew by the stop I was waiting.
