The Roman Empire, Napoleon, the Cold War – we all know them, the important dates from history class, but only in a few cases can we concretely connect them to the space we move through every day. Instead, we encounter other things there: strange trenches in the ground, wall anchors with dates, telling place names, and black-and-white photos that our grandmother might even remember a story about.
Using the example of the small town of Lüttelforst, located in the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park, the LüttelGo app explores both major historical events and the local past. It highlights the history of people, buildings, and the (cultural) landscape.
Those who prefer to stay on the couch can embark on a discovery tour from home.
Those who enjoy walking can take a journey through time using the map function. Those who are out cycling are also welcome to learn new things and discover old things with LüttelGo!
