Nehir Developmental Evaluation (NEGDE) is a developmental assessment tool that evaluates the development of children aged 0-6 in the cognitive, language, gross motor, fine motor, social-emotional and self-care areas. NEGDE is an evaluation tool that evaluates the skills of children in relevant developmental areas through their mothers, fathers, caregivers or teachers and compares them with the norms of development. During the evaluation process, the contents were prepared by matching the developmental stages that children should demonstrate in each developmental area with the daily skills that can be easily observed by the person applying the test. Therefore, there is no need for a special material or environment to perform the test.

As part of its function, NEGDE evaluates the development levels of children according to the statements of their mothers, fathers, caregivers or teachers. The purpose of the evaluation is to give parents an idea about their children's development and to enable them to follow their development. NEGDE does not diagnose or label children's possible conditions.
