About this app

Level is a tiny, no-nonsense bubble level (spirit level) for your phone. It does one job and does it well: tell you when something is level or plumb on a clean, distraction-free screen, with no ads and no tracking.

Two modes, switched automatically:
• Level mode: hold the phone against a wall, shelf, picture frame or any edge. A tilting waterline and a big angle readout show exactly how far off level you are.
• Flat mode: lay the phone on a surface to level it on two axes at once, with a moving bubble/ring and per-axis readouts.

Highlights:
• Precise to 0.1°: fine enough for shelves, frames, appliances and DIY.
• Instant alerts: the screen turns green and (optionally) beeps and vibrates the moment you reach level.
• Adjustable threshold: choose how close counts as “level” (default 0.2°).
• Mute anything: toggle sound and vibration independently; the visual alert is always on.
• Smooth & responsive: the readout tracks your display’s refresh rate.
• Ridiculously small & private: a few dozen kilobytes, fully offline, no ads, no accounts, no data collected. The only permission is vibration.

Whether you’re hanging a picture, mounting a TV, or leveling a washing machine, shelf or table, Level gives a fast, accurate answer without the clutter.

Note: accuracy depends on your device’s accelerometer. Rest the phone on a flat reference and use the adjustable threshold for best results.
