About this app

Do Not Disturb (DND 3.0) App enables smart phone users to register their mobile number under DND to avoid Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC)/ Telemarketing Calls / SMS. This is based on TRAI, “Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulations, 2018”.

The App helps you:

1. Set your DND preferences.
2. Lodge a UCC complaint with your service provider.
3. Check the status of complaints filed with your service provider.

The App requires permission to access your address book to distinguish between calls/messages from your saved contacts and those from unknown telemarketers. You contact list is neither uploaded to the backend, nor shared in any manner.

The new release has the following additional features:

· An intelligent spam detection engine (for SMS only) to assist the subscriber in reporting

· Crowdsourcing of data about offending messages and calls to speed up detection of unregistered telemarketers

· Updates about action taken on complaints within the App

· Easier interface and set up

Note: In MIUI Phones, permission has to be added manually for getting list of messages from header like XY-AAAAAA. For this, Please go to app permissions and click on other permissions. Select DND app and you will find Service SMS field which is disabled. Please enable this field to view header sms in DND App.

I was continuously getting the internal server error and unable to raise the complaints. Tried reinstalling the app, but unable to login for more than a week. Not sure if anyone is looking at this seriously. Really worst application team. This is the only app which gives continuous releases to make the app totally unstable and unusable. You won't get any response for the mails also.

Why you are running app if not able to handle it? App is not registering complaint again. Too many bugs. App is not working. I have latest version. Trai can you look into it? We are believing in govt organisation and if it will not work then where we need to go? If beta program is available then please provide access. I can help in improvement of the app

Worst app I have ever seen. I installed the app right now and when I am trying to fill my phone numbers in Sim 1 and Sim 2 options. The app automatically registers same number at both options and then shows a msg - "both numbers cannot be same." When you guys are unable to handle the app then why you create this. Instead of getting help from this app, this app is increasing the headache.
