About this app

TurnIt is an independent, unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with KTM AG, Husqvarna Motorcycles, Google, TomTom, OsmAnd, Kurviger, calimoto, Organic Maps, CoMaps, or Locus Map. All trademarks and product names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

🏍️ YOUR NAVIGATION, ON THE DASH

TurnIt mirrors turn-by-turn directions from the navigation app on your phone to the TFT dashboard of compatible KTM motorcycles: the maneuver arrow, the distance to the turn, and the road name — right where you are already looking.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Connect your phone to your bike in Android's Bluetooth settings, then pair the bike in TurnIt.
2. Grant notification access so TurnIt can read the directions your navigation app shows on this phone.
3. Start navigating and ride. TurnIt forwards every turn to the dash and clears it when you arrive.

Everything runs on your phone. Your routes and notifications never leave your device — TurnIt talks only to your own motorcycle over Bluetooth. No account, no ads, no tracking.

FREE

• Turn-by-turn display from Google Maps
• Both dash generations: Gen 2 (Bluetooth Classic) and Gen 3 (Bluetooth Low Energy)
• Music on the dash: see the current track while you are not navigating
• Two app themes: KTM Orange and Husqvarna Blue — switch any time
• Connection status and easy reconnect when you open the app

⭐ TURNIT PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION

• More navigation apps: TomTom GO, OsmAnd, Kurviger, calimoto, Organic Maps, CoMaps, and Locus Map — including apps with full offline maps and routing, so you need no mobile data on the road
• Low-power background sync: TurnIt reconnects automatically when you switch on the ignition, with virtually no battery drain
• Multi-bike: pair several motorcycles and switch the active bike with a tap

LANGUAGES

English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), and French. Pick a language in Settings or let TurnIt follow your phone.

COMPATIBILITY

TurnIt works with KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles whose TFT dashboard supports the turn-by-turn navigation display:

• Gen 3 dashes — 2024 and newer models (developed and tested on a 390 Duke)
• Gen 2 dashes — earlier TFT models (developed and tested on a 2022 390 Adventure)

Note: on some models the manufacturer did not enable the dash's navigation display (for example certain 390 Duke years with a Gen-2 dash) — TurnIt cannot add what the dash does not support. The navigation option in the dash's own menu must be switched on. If you are unsure about your bike, ask us before buying Pro.

💡 GOOD TO KNOW

Roundabouts: most navigation apps tell TurnIt only which exit to take, not which direction it points. TurnIt works the arrow out from the exit number, assuming four evenly spaced exits, and is right at roughly seven out of ten roundabouts — at an unusual one it can point noticeably off. The exit number is always exactly what your navigation app said, and the dash shows it in front of the road name: trust the number, read the arrow as a hint. With Google Maps, TomTom GO and Kurviger, TurnIt reads the arrow image itself and shows the real direction. The Information screen explains this in more detail.

PERMISSIONS

• Notification access — to read turn-by-turn directions from your navigation app. Used for exactly that; nothing is stored or uploaded.
• Nearby devices (Bluetooth) — to find and connect to your motorcycle. Not used for location.
• Notifications — to show the connection status while the bridge is running.

What’s new

What's new:

• New look: pick KTM Orange or Husqvarna Blue when you start, or switch any time in Settings.
• Roundabouts: the exit number now appears next to the road name on the dash. The number is exact, the arrow is a best estimate — the Information screen explains when.
• Fewer wrong arrows: an unknown maneuver now clears the dash instead of leaving the previous arrow up.
• Husqvarna: your dash now appears in the device list by name, without "show all devices".
