The National Federation of Computer Associations of the Republic of China was jointly initiated by the computer associations of 17 counties and cities, including Keelung City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Yilan County, Hualien County, and Penghu County. On December 6, 2016, it formally applied to the Ministry of the Interior for the establishment of a nationwide legal entity, and was approved by the Ministry of the Interior on July 22, 2017 (approval number: 10600584421). This Federation will work with its affiliated associations and related legal entities to promote the development of the information, computer, and communications industry, and enhance the business and production model innovation of its member companies, thereby creating new business opportunities in the internationalization and networking of the information, computer, and communications industry in the 21st century.
