About this game

20482 is a sliding number puzzle set inside the Star Forge, a glowing workshop floating among the constellations. Every tile is a crystal stone. Slide the board, push two matching stones together and the forge fuses them into a brighter, heavier crystal: 2 and 2 become 4, 4 and 4 become 8, and the ladder climbs to the 2048 Star Core, then on through nebula, obsidian and prism stones all the way to 65536.

HOW IT WORKS
Swipe up, down, left or right, or use the arrow keys or WASD on a keyboard. All stones slide as far as they can in that direction. When two stones with the same number collide they merge into one, and the new value is added to your score. After every move a new 2 or 4 appears in an empty cell. The run ends when the board is full and no merge is left.

THREE FORGE MODES
• Classic Forge: the familiar 4×4 board. Reach the 2048 crystal to win, then keep forging for a higher score.
• Grand Forge: a roomy 5×5 board for long, thoughtful sessions. The goal rises to 4096.
• Blitz Forge: 4×4 against a three minute timer. No undo and no hesitation; merge as much as you can before the clock runs out.

FORGE TOOLS
Classic and Grand give you three undo charges per run. Tap the undo stone to rewind your last move, so one slip does not ruin a promising board. Your run is saved automatically: leave in the middle of a game and the Continue button brings you back to the same board, score and undo count.

SEASON STAR CHART
Every finished score can be posted to the online Star Chart. Charts are separated by mode, so Classic, Grand and Blitz players compete on their own terms. Switch between the current season and the all-time chart, scroll the list and find your own row highlighted with your rank. Seasons reset regularly, giving everyone a fresh climb. Choose a forge name of up to 15 characters; you can rename later without losing your place. No account, email or sign-in is needed. Offline? Your score waits in a queue and is sent when the connection returns.

A WORLD, NOT A SPREADSHEET
The Star Forge is drawn with hand-made artwork: a bronze anvil, a star map, a guide scroll, a messenger bird and crystal stones that change color and shape as they grow. Merges throw sparks, new records ring out and the board glows with soft ember light. A short loading screen shows the forge emblem before you press Start.

GUIDE AND CONTACT
Open the Guide scroll for illustrated rules, mode explanations and strategy tips. The messenger bird opens the contact page with our email and website, so feedback and bug reports reach the team directly. The page also shows the app version to make reports precise.

COMFORT
• Eight languages: English, Tiếng Việt, 繁體中文, 简体中文, 日本語, Español, हिन्दी, Français.
• Portrait and landscape on phones, tablets and desktops; the board fills the screen.
• Sound and vibration toggles in Settings.
• Pause any time; the system Back button pauses a run instead of closing the app.

FORGE TIPS
1. Pick a corner for your largest crystal and keep it there.
2. Keep the row next to that corner full so it rarely moves.
3. Avoid the direction that pulls your big stone out of its corner.
4. Line up chains like 64, 32, 16, 8 so they merge in a cascade.
5. Save undo charges for real mistakes.
6. When the board gets crowded, choose the move that opens the most empty cells.
