This application provides access to the following information:
Country Profile - Information and status of child health status in Turkmenistan.
Infectious diseases - information on infectious diseases and vaccinations in the country
About us - contact information for the world health organization in Turkmenistan.
Pocket Guide - Guidelines designed for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are in charge of treating children. Particular attention is paid to the management of diseases that make up the main causes of infant mortality:

• Diseases of newborns, low birth weight, premature babies, sepsis, perinatal asphyxia and congenital anomalies;
• Pneumonia and other breathing problems such as bronchiolitis, asthma, and tuberculosis
• Diarrhea, acute and prolonged
• Fever, including malaria, meningitis, septic fever, and rheumatic fever
• Severe malnutrition
• HIV AIDS
• Surgical problems, including trauma and burns.

The electronic application contains recommendations on the stages of managing sick children in the hospital: emergency triage assessment, methodology for examining children, laboratory tests, supportive care and monitoring, discharge and follow-up.

This electronic application will allow you to use the recommendations offline. In addition, it has the following user-friendly features: clickable links, search, full-size illustrations, and the use of formulas to calculate dosage of drugs (instead of tables used in the printed version of the manual).
