Pretends to be able to do a lot of things, but complains about missing permissions in a lot of places, even though all permissions are granted. The Permissions page of the Setup/All Apps entry of PingTools even clearly says "No permissions denied".

Update (June 2024), sorted out the connection issue but for some reason this app nearly always shows a slower speed test result than any other test I use! 12 months later (May 2024), changed ISP and the app will not show internet connection. A rare thing in the world of apps! A clear, easy to use intuitive interface that does what you want with a few extras thrown in. A really useful tool for diagnosing wifi problems.

I downloaded this application to find my WiFi DHCP lease time and IP expiration timers, but it completely lacks this basic feature. While it offers other network tools like ping and traceroute, missing such a fundamental network detail is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. If you need to see how long your router lease is set for your devices, look elsewhere or just use a Windows PC command prompt. This app is utterly useless for finding the precise lease duration on modern Android phones.
