I only want to use this to ensure that my internet connection is via broadband and not 3G from my phone - I have sporadic BB connection issues. I'm sure the other facilities are useful but I don't have the skills to use them. After closing app I have to go into Settings to ensure that all processes are closed to preserve battery. The adds are an utter pain. Also I think not completely accurate in recognising all connected devices. But for free ... what could I expect? Having used this a bit I'm revising to 4* - the adds are easy to dismiss and effect on battery for what I do is insignificant. Recognition of devices is OK too
The port scanner might want to be reviewed. With inconsistent results and not detecting all my ports, I think it could be improved. Also, on the wifi scanner, maybe consider updates every few seconds. With the constant updates, this tool becomes very laggy.
Amazing full featured app. It's quick it's, responsive, and really does everything it advertised. I will continue to use this to troubleshoot networks. This is the only app I will rate 5 stars that uses full screen ads. Full screen ads are terrible and I hope the dev thinks about their use. This app really shines.
This is an excellent tool as it contains many net utilities. Unfortunately LAN scan results are inconsistent. With known devices active each refresh on the LAN scan might show them all or might not. Emailed developer few days ago about information but no response.
I love this app, but it crashes upon start. It stalls and freezes at searching for devices under LAN(main screen) FIX IT! Device :: Lenovo A916
Pretty awesome and fully-featured app. Any networking The interface is intuitive and clean. Three complains though: First, for some reason the "Local-Area Network" list adds a period to the end of some randomly-chosen hostnames. Secondly, it'd be nice to have a button to clear the Local-Area Network list. Third, the Wi-Fi Scanner doesn't report HT40, VHT80, and VHT160 networks properly, only showing them as 20MHz-wide. It's something that many other apps have and is essential for choosing a proper channel. I tried emailing the developer twice, using the contact email provided, about the Wi-Fi scanner troubles. I didn't receive a response either time. I'm not sure if it's just an un-monitored email address or what, but it makes me wary of purchasing the Pro version.
