A pocket phrasebook for Ukrainian women who care for the elderly in Germany. Not a course or a textbook — a quick tip for every day: how to say about pain, medicine, falling, how to call an ambulance — and how it will sound.
You search in Ukrainian, as you think, and the application gives you the German phrase and pronunciation in Ukrainian letters. You don’t need to know grammar.
HOW IT WORKS
• You write in Ukrainian: “болить”, “впала”, “лики”, “возликати дократи” — in any form of the word: “судомы”, “судомыт”, “звело” lead to the same phrases.
• You get the German phrase, pronunciation in Ukrainian letters (“ихь браухе”) and an explanation of when to say it.
• You can also search in German, and even “как почули” by ear.
• “Listen” — the phone pronounces the phrase in a German voice.
• “Big display” — a phrase on the entire screen to read without glasses or show to the patient.
WHAT’S INSIDE
• Over 1,100 phrases in everyday care situations: first contact, pain and well-being, medication and time, falls, hygiene, night, kitchen and everyday life, calling the family.
• Difficult topics separately: blood pressure and pulse, urine and catheter, breathing, dementia, bedsores, palliative care, acute conditions.
• Red “112” button on each screen.
• 112 call card: enter the address, name, age and diagnoses of the patient in advance, and read them line by line from the screen during the call.
• Favorites — mark the phrases you need with a star.
WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
All phrases are on the phone. When the patient has fallen, you can't wait for a connection. The application automatically pulls up new phrases as soon as the network appears.
NO REGISTRATION
No account is required. The application does not collect phone numbers, location, or device ID. The 112 card, favorites, and history remain only on your phone. We only receive feedback if you write it yourself.
IMPORTANT
This is language assistance, not medical advice. In urgent cases, call 112 and follow the instructions of the dispatcher and doctors.
