I am using epicollect for a graduate project, and for a free program, I am always amazed with how easy it is to use and how many features they can pack in to make it accessible.

A nice data collection app. However, the inability to edit existing data on a mobile device makes it unsuitable for our needs. Thanks for the reply. Perhaps I should have been more precise: "It is not possible to edit downloaded remote entries directly and re-upload them". Also, "If you need to edit entries from your mobile device, the only way is to use the web application instead of the mobile app". In areas without network coverage, being able to edit via the website is of no use.

Thanks for your feedback. You can edit entries on any mobile device. See our docs at https://docs.epicollect.net/ or ask for help at https://community.epicollect.net/

This is a excellent application. It is easy to learn, develop, modify, use in the field, revise data, transfer data to spread sheet, and develop a site map. We are using it to survey and catalog the contents of a 5 acre garden of plants and animals with hundreds of native and imported species with GPS locations, photographs and notes. Instructions for use are helpful however not as explicit as it could be. Trial and error was necessary to make it work for our specific use. Because of its ease of use and capability of modification during the early stages of the project when finding unexpected discoveries the site could be taylored on the fly for improved specificity. Feel free to check out the Epicollect5, Everglades Wonder Gardens.
