How do you learn something new — and remember it tomorrow?
Join Pip, Nova and Sage on the Elsewhere Expedition: a learning adventure designed for learners aged 13 and above. Explore six illustrated islands, play twelve quests, and practise strategies you can use in schoolwork and your own projects.
PLAY WITH A PURPOSE
Sort useful information from distractions. Rebuild supplies from memory. Put a plan in order. Investigate fictional evidence. Explain an idea to the crew. Choose an approach for a new situation. Each challenge makes a learning strategy something you do.
CHECK YOUR THINKING
Predict how you will do, make an attempt, and use specific feedback to improve it. Choose guided support or a greater challenge. Ask for a clue and try again. Discovery points celebrate exploration; they do not measure intelligence or mastery.
MEET YOUR CREW
Talk through learning questions with three original characters. These are written, branching conversations, not live AI chat or conversations with other people. There are no lives to lose and no streak penalties.
REMEMBER OVER TIME
Use the Memory Studio to practise recall, create your own question cards, and return to material over time. Memory quests add the material you actually practised to a later review.
TAKE IT INTO REAL LIFE
Follow guided learning missions, plan a personal project, and reflect in your learning journal. Try a strategy on homework, a creative idea, or a question you want to investigate.
A SPACE FOR THE FAMILY
Keep separate learner profiles on one device. The family view shows activity, first attempts and later checked results to support useful conversations about learning. It does not diagnose ability or guarantee educational outcomes.
The Android app opens the Learnlab web app. Connect to the internet for the first download and keep the app open until it says Ready for offline learning. Downloaded learning content then works offline while your browser retains it. Content improvements arrive through the web app. Progress is saved on your device, with backup export and import. There are no accounts, ads, in-app purchases or public social features. Links to external resources need an internet connection.
