New Interface Now Working Well Colours seem better now (red on blue still not a great combination). Widget and exit also working. Great app for anyone leisure navigating UK waters.
The best Tide app for the UK, but recent changes not all good. The blue UI has been toned down, and the widget has been reduced to the original size, both welcome. I also like that you can now scroll through dates without a break between months. However I remain unconvinced by the new layout, despite using the app on a tablet. The tidal curve graphic, and the tidal streams atlas have reduced in size, which on a large tablet may be OK, but not on a 7". The functionality is largely unchanged, except that port selection and secondary port creation are now cramped - it would be difficult at sea. I have inadvertently deleted all starred ports twice because of this (what do the silver/gold stars signify?). "Disable summertime" - if ticked shows summertime, if blank, GMT, - back to front surely? That said, for the past 3 years I have used this app routinely at sea, and I feel it's the best tide app for UK waters, albeit that I don't like some of the changes. It gives accurate information even for secondary ports, and does away with the need to perform tedious tidal height calculations - a great safety feature. The tidal stream atlases are stamped with the times for the selected day, so you can see at a glance what the stream will be hour by hour.
Great app and support Absolutely brilliant informative and correct.
Highly recommend This is the best tidal app i have tried for UK waters.
Best tidal app. Ignore the low rating it's a five star app.
Great app - many thanks!
4: Complete user interface overhaul including new ways of changing ports and better support for tablets.
4.1: Make the blue background a little darker and edit some of the icons
4.1.1: App wasn't closing with back button. Prevent crash creating custom 2nd port. Tone down red text on blue.
