Our new app has everything you need to get around with Borders Buses. It’s packed full of everything you’ll need to get mobile on the bus.

Mobile Tickets Purchase mobile tickets securely with a debit/credit card and scan when boarding - no more searching for cash!

Live Departures: Browse and view bus stops on the map, explore upcoming departures, or check out the routes from a stop to see where you could travel next.

Journey Planning: Plan your commute, trip to the shops or night out with friends. It’s now even easier to plan ahead with Borders Buses.

Timetables: We’ve squeezed all of our routes and timetables into the palm of your hand.

Favourites: You can quickly save your favourite Departure Boards, Timetables and Journeys, with quick access from one convenient menu.

Disruptions: You’ll be able to keep up to date with service changes directly from our Twitter feeds inside the app.

Great app, live tracking works most of the time, bus timings are also mostly close to the truth. Minor issue is that sometimes the bus you are tracking disappears form the map randomly and reappears later, which causes a bit of confusion. but this is still manageable. Otherwise a very useful app, helps me out countless times!

Easy to use app, simple navigation, journey planner works well (like the steps and CO2 saved details) Only minor gripe would be when buying promotional tickets you can't increase (as far as I can see) the quantity you are buying, meaning I have to put the same transaction through 6 times, for example, to buy 6 tickets. Feels like something that would be easy to fix though and hope to see it in a future update!

Super easy to navigate, love the love bus tracking. Wish I could purchase more than one ticket at any given time. Also found that, at least recently for a stop I board at, a discrepancy between when the bus is due and how long the bus will really take to arrive is apparent. For example, the app expects the bus to arrive in 10 minutes, yet the map shows the bus much further behind schedule consistently. I feel it would make more sense to have both when the bus is due and realistic time of arrival
