I've owned the Hive heating product for approaching 6 years now. I feel like it's getting worse with each passing year. The latest is that it does not update the display with the current thermostat temperature reading when you open the app. In addition when you manually refresh the temperature display, it is not updating the display. I am ready to move away from hive. Too many ads and subscription services -- standard functionality and telemetry malfunctioning or not available.

Setting the thermostat schedule is both painful and broken. Can only change 1 day at a time and each change of temp causes the app to freeze requiring restarting. Faster to do it from the thermostat! Also, app starts show what the temp was last and then, after a few moments goes to find out the current. This is less than useful and in fact confusing.

This app logs you out after every single use. I've uninstalled, cleared cache, gone into settings, nothing works. Completely useless if I can get to the thermostat faster than opening the app, logging in, having it connect, and only THEN making a change. Only to do it all over again the next time you go in to make a change. Very frustrated.
