Ever been out shopping worrying that you're spending too much, or just needed to make sure you keep under your budget? Well then this is the app for you!


Running Total allows you to easily keep track of how much you're spending and exactly what you're spending it on. A budget can be set and the app will notify you if your spending goes over.

Items are simple to add to the list, just type the price in and optionally a name and press the plus button, and they're just as simple to remove, just give the item a long press.

And don't worry if you're interrupted by a phone call, or just need to quickly check that email, all your added items are safely stored, ready to be loaded back up again.

Really simple app, literally a place for the cost and a place for what it was and a running total, but exactly what I was looking for. I have been doing shopping for my elderly mum, up until recently she was keeping track of what I'd spent, but it was getting too much for her to track. I've taken it over, but as numbers are not something I'm good at, it was stressing me that I might be charging her more than I was actually spending. I went looking for a very simple app to help.

Just what I was looking for. Nice and simple. Would love to be able to have more than one running total on the go at the same time and perhaps name them eg one for the week's budget and one for running round the supermarket with a set amount to spend.

Use to be able to use the drop down ... "options" to reset the budget, but now the drop down is just a blank box and one has to manually delete every previous entry
