This Augmented Reality App allows the security features in the New Spectra sample banknote to be revealed. The sample banknote has a level III security feature which is embedded in the Fusion substrate during the BOPP polymer extrusion process. This provides the highest level of protection against counterfeiters who have easy access to commercial BOPP film. Spectra’s proprietary security taggant and manufacturing process ensures high window clarity and enables high speed authentication on banknote processing machines. With this app a sample physical banknote security features are overlaid graphically by selecting the appropriate hotspot. The features can also be revealed on a graphic banknote. Incorporated in the app is a video that explains the full BOPP process in detail.
