About this app

iBCare is the app for healthcare staff working with iBCare across Torquay,
Paignton, Newton Abbot and the rest of Devon. It is where you find work, sign
for the hours you have done, and keep your payslips and training in one place.

You need an iBCare staff account to use it. If you are not registered yet you
can apply from the app in about five minutes.


FIND WORK THAT FITS AROUND YOU

See every open shift the office needs filling, with the care home, the role,
the date, the hours, the break and the hourly rate on the card before you
commit to anything. Open the shift for the full details, the notes from the
unit and directions to the door.

Request a shift in a couple of taps. The office confirms it and you get a
notification the moment they do.


SIGN YOUR TIMESHEET ON SITE

No paper, no photographing a form in a car park. When you have worked a shift
it appears ready to sign, with the times already filled in from what was
booked — change them if the shift actually ran differently and the hours are
worked out for you.

The person in charge signs on your phone, you sign underneath, and a copy is
emailed to you and to the home straight away. Both of you can type a name or
draw a signature; drawing opens a full-screen pad so it looks like a real
signature and not a scribble.

Signed with no phone signal? It is saved on your phone and sent by itself as
soon as you are back online. You never have to sign the same shift twice.


YOUR PAY AND YOUR PROFILE

Every payslip, by pay period, with what you took home and your total for the
tax year so far. Save or share any of them as a PDF.

Your profile is a short checklist rather than a long form: a photo, your
address, your DBS and your training certificates. Photograph a certificate
and the app reads the course name and the dates off it for you. It warns you
before anything is about to expire, so a lapsed certificate never costs you a
shift.

ABOUT iBCARE

iBCare supplies healthcare assistants, support workers, senior carers and
nurses to care homes and supported living services across Devon. Rates are
£14–17 per hour, full time, part time, or pick the shifts you want.
