About this app

TEAMS Asbestos provides asbestos consultancies with an online and offline, robust, onsite data collection tool specifically designed to capture asbestos containing materials (ACMs) details from site in the most efficient and effective way possible.

With the aid of the TEAMS office suite, the data is quickly and easily produced into a fully fledged asbestos survey report, complete with;
- asbestos scoring including material assessments and priority assessments
- multiple photographs of each ACM
- complete building, floor and room register
- bulk sample certificates from your chosen lab
- floorplans including sample points and inaccessible areas

The app fully synchronises with your surveyor’s company’s TEAMS server allowing new appointments to automatically download to your device in a mobile diary screen.

Once onsite, your surveyor has ability to create multiple buildings, floors, and room structures which can be easily navigated throughout the course of the onsite survey.

Within each room, ACMs can be created in a wide range of configurations to suite including sampled items (with material assessments and priority assessments), strongly presumed items, presumed/visual inspections and inaccessible items.

Each item will also prompt for photographs to be taken using your devices integrated camera and flash facilities. Multiple photos of a single ACM are supported, along with photo annotation/mark-up using the apps built-in editor.

Sample references, quantity and a series of predictive, textual descriptions are also available for each sample and strong validation at the close of the job ensure this information is collected.

The TEAMS floorplan designer is also integrated into TEAMS Asbestos app to allow the surveyor to create the areas in real time onscreen and simply drag and drop the samples onto the canvas. The floorplan facility also supports;
- Sample drag and drop
- Client supplied symbols (also drag and drop)
- Simply box tools, line tools and shape tools
- Manual and automatic text tools with colours and font sizes
- Specialised ‘area marker’ tool for automatic shading based on results

Along with the standard surveying exercise, the app also features the following additional features and benefits;
- Works OFFLINE – no internet connection required for site work.
