About this app

OperatorCompliance Driver is the daily walkaround check and driver defect report app for HGV, van, PSV and coach drivers whose employer uses OperatorCompliance. Complete your pre-use vehicle check on your phone in a few minutes, report defects with photos, sign on screen and send the report straight to your transport manager. Built for the yard: large buttons, high contrast, and it keeps working when there is no signal.

YOUR LOGIN COMES FROM YOUR EMPLOYER
There is no sign-up in this app. Your operator (the transport manager or the office) creates your driver login in their OperatorCompliance account and gives you a login and a password. If you do not have one, ask your transport manager. The app is free, has no advertisements and sells nothing.

DAILY WALKAROUND CHECK
- Vehicle check templates for HGV, van, PSV and trailer based on the DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness
- Pick your vehicle from the fleet list (recent vehicles first) or enter the registration if it is not listed
- Add a trailer and the odometer reading
- Mark every item OK, Defect or N/A and watch the progress bar
- Nil-defect declaration when everything is in order
- Optional location capture at the time of the check
- Sign on screen and submit; the PDF report is created automatically

DRIVER DEFECT REPORT
- Record each defect as minor, major or dangerous with a description
- Take up to 6 photos per defect with the camera
- "Vehicle is unsafe to drive" switch: the vehicle is taken off road (VOR) and your operator gets a critical alert at once
- The transport manager is notified immediately and a PDF defect report is stored with the check

WORKS OFFLINE
- Checklists are stored on the phone so you can start a check without a signal
- Submissions queue and send automatically when you are back online; photos stay on the device until sent
- A "Waiting to send" banner shows what is still queued

FOLLOW-UP
- History of your checks with the PDF report of each one
- Open defects from your checks and whether they have been rectified, with a push notification when the operator closes one
- Tachograph analysis reports waiting for your signature, signed in the app
- Your own driving licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card expiry dates, read only
- Optional morning reminder if no check has been done today

WHAT YOU SEE
Drivers see only their own checks, defects, reports and documents. Fleet records, other drivers and operator settings stay with the office. Your operator decides what is recorded.

LANGUAGES
English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian and Bulgarian. Choose the language on the login screen or in Profile; checklists, reports and notifications follow.

PRICING
The app is free for drivers. Your employer's OperatorCompliance account and plan are managed on operatorcompliance.co.uk. There are no in-app purchases and no advertisements.

DATA AND PRIVACY
Check data, photos and signatures are sent encrypted to your operator's account, hosted in the United Kingdom. Location is optional and off by default. Privacy policy: https://operatorcompliance.co.uk/legal/privacy
