About this app
PostboxMap is the community UK map for finding pillar boxes and wall boxes near you, checking in on walks, and recording heritage detail such as royal cypher, reign, and form.
Explore the map by postcode or GPS, open nearby listings, and get directions. Browse by reign and type, identify boxes with the in-app guide, and join challenges and the leaderboard. Contributors add photos, suggest corrections, and help verify listings through Sorting Office.
What you can do
• Find UK postboxes on an interactive map with OpenStreetMap context
• See boxes near you that need a photo, an update, or a first visit
• Add a listing with photos and heritage fields for moderator review
• Use Field Mode to capture several boxes offline, then upload when you are home
• Check in, earn points and stamps, and follow listings you care about
• Share a listing, join discussions, and help keep the map accurate
PostboxMap is a moderated heritage and community map. It is not a Royal Mail collection-time tool, and it is not a virtual-address or mail-forwarding service.
Free to use. Optional remove-ads subscription available. Same account as postboxmap.co.uk.
