Pixel 2 XL running Android 10 & GoPro 6 Black on latest firmware. App connections, and turns GoPro on and off just fine. Also toggles recording properly. Unfortunately it won't switch to photo mode, which for me makes this an uninstall. I appreciate the effort, but to really make it a proper remote it needs to be able to choose other functions than the current.

Just constantly crashing. This is on a pixel 6 running Android 13. Has nothing to do with the GoPro because it crashes when I try to put the app in Discovery mode. Three stars for the great idea and I'm sure it's just a glitch that has to do with the new Android update. Can't wait to try this out.

I'm so sorry the app didn't work as it should have, I have just published an update which fixes the crashes and improves everything, please consider updating the app in the Play Store and try the app again.

I bought a used GoPro Hero3+ which uses the WiFi to connect instead of Bluetooth. This App probably works great on the newer GoPros. But currently I can't use this App and currently there are no other Apps that work. I would be willing to pay for this App if I could remotely control my new old Hero3+. I guess I will continue just controlling my GoPro as usual, through its own interface controls. I apologize for giving this App such a low rating, because it probably does a great job for Bluetooth

I'm so sorry but as you thought the app works with the newer Bluetooth models (5+) and not the older WiFi only models. If in the future you upgrade your GoPro, please consider giving the app another try, as I've just released some big updates which have improved everything in the app.

What's new

Added video preview, redesigned the look and feel, improved discovery of GoPro's, and fixed some annoying bugs 🎉
