Managing your energy has never been easier. With the ScottishPower App be rest assured your home is in your control.


The ScottishPower App allows you to control your energy at your fingertips. Managing your dual fuel, gas or electricity account has never been easier.


As well as all of your favourite features such as changing your tariff, managing your monthly direct debit payments, entering your gas and electricity meter readings and keeping track of your gas and electricity usage with your smartphone on the go, we've also added a bunch of exciting new features for you to try!


Home Screen


It’s now easier than ever to find your key services within the app, we’ve organised the home screen by categories. You will see all of your energy account related features first and foremost as you told us these were most important to you. The home screen is personalised to you, depending on what features your account should have.


Smart Home


Homes are becoming more and more connected, with Smart Meters and Smart devices such as the new Honeywell Lyric Thermostat allowing us to gain more control of our home while on the go. The Smart Home section allows you quick and easy access to all of your Smart Home devices, right there on the home screen with just one click.


Electric Vehicles


As a company, we are committed to a cleaner energy future and we want to allow you to easily control your eco-friendly Electric Vehicle in the app, find your nearest charging point and see some other key information about your vehicle as we add more features to the app.


Stay Logged In


We have introduced the ability to stay logged in to the app. You may be used to this with some of your favourite apps, if you would like to log out each time the option is still there in My Account.


Change My Tariff


Are you on the best energy deal for you? Our online tariff selector lets you compare our available energy tariffs and it only takes a few minutes to choose a new tariff. WithFreedom, you can change to any ScottishPower tariff without paying exit fees.



Direct Debit Manager


Stay in control of your monthly direct debit payments within the app. Our handy direct debit manager tool allows you to view your gas and electricity usage and adjust payments to suit your needs, helping you to know where you stand with your bills.



View Bills & Energy Usage


Monitor your energy usage and bills across the year, view a detailed breakdown of your gas and electricity and even email your bill with our simple usage and bills graphs. There is also some really handy energy efficiency tips to keep you on the right track.



You can also:


• Log in or register your online gas and electricity account.


• Manage your energy account details.


• Enter your meter readings directly into the app to keep your energy usage and bill data up to date.


• Contact ScottishPower customer services directly using in app-chat or on the Community

Fine when it works, but if you actually want to do anything you end up in a loop. Try and do it, asks to log on (even though I am), then says for security it's sent a link to my email and use that. I click on the login link. and it says it's letting me continue...but it takes me to the main page, and when I try doing what I was trying to do....it just repeats this same process!!!

Unable to complete 'Change of Tariff'. Just to make you aware, using the APP on my android pixel phone, I was able to review other tariffs available but unable to complete my choice as the final T&C button was out of sight. The orientation didn't work as the APP remained in portrait. The option was only completed when I used a browser to repeat the exercise. (I trust my experience is accurate and I have not missed something obvious that everyone else would do to solve the problem)

I have the same complaint as always. When viewing new tariffs nowhere does it show the rate you are offering. It only tells you the monthly direct debit amount. I want to see the exact rate I'm likely to be paying, Inc the daily standing charge and the unit rate. in the app it doesn't show any of that information. Be honest and open and show your customers valuable information. Stop trying to get people to sign up for something without knowing what they are actually signing up for.
