About this game

Easter is a wonderful time of year. It is spring time: plants are starting to flower; lambs are being born in the fields; and it's a time for a festive holiday!

This fun and festive word search puzzle, designed for children aged 5 to 8 years old (or older!), will provide a lot of entertainment over the Easter season!

Children need to find the seasonal words in the grid. This child friendly activity will help with early word skills, and knowing vocabulary words used during the spring.

The activity can be changed for different levels of ability:
- the grid can be 6x6, 8x8 or 10x10 squares
- the language may be changed between English and Spanish
- it can allow diagonal words or reverse words (down to up, or right to left)
Each time it is used, it will generate a different grid of words.

When each word is found, a chick will spring out of the egg on the screen, and when all the words have been found, the rabbit will perform a somersault across the screen!

It would be ideal for a fun activity at home, or as a "wet break" activity in school. For children learning Spanish or French (or English as a second language, ESL), it would be a fun way to reinforce these festive words.
